Objectives:

1. To learn about a scientist who does research in an area of physics that interests you.
2. To learn about a scientist or scientists who works as a physicist at a university you will attend, or are interested in attending.
3. To contact a scientist meeting one of the first two objectives, to find out more about what they do.

How to do this:

1. Consult government agency (e.g. DOE, NREL) website and follow available links to research scientist information.
2. Consult university websites - follow links to physics or nuclear engineering or nuclear medicine departments - find webpages and e-mail addresses of individual scientists
3. Choose an individual who seems interesting to you.
4. Do some more research in Google to find out more about this person and what they do.
5. send them an e-mail telling them who you are, and what you are doing. Ask for examples of research articles (pdfs) and find out if they do anything else interesting with their time and effort.
6. Upload a report on your work to this wikispace using the following file name type: RSInterlandi.doc (use your own last name)
